Problem creating a new account in templates

Hi I could not find a topic to suit my problem, so I hope it's OK here.
I am trying to create an account in openoffice templates. I would like to upload a template for others to use.
I get a message "Unable to send e-mail. Contact the site administrator if the problem persists."
if I try again to create a new account with the same email address I get a message "The e-mail address peter.munton@gmail.com is already registered. Have you forgotten your password?"
If I try to get a new password I get a message "Unable to send e-mail. Contact the site administrator if the problem persists."

The email address is one I have used for years, it is a Gmail address

Any Ideas

Use the Extensions and Templates page of the LibreOffice. It worked fine when my son uploaded our timeStampBackup extension.

I am working with openoffice and would prefer to stay with it.
Also i think it would be better that openoffice templates is fixed.

No-one here manages that site; you'll have to hope someone on the users mailing list - where you have already asked - is able to help.

Most of the LibreOffice extensions and all of the templates located on the LO Extensions and templates page work with Apache OpenOffice too. It is not relevant the URL of the the place where you upload/share your template, the users will find it. Our timeStampBackup extension works with AOO too, but we have not uploaded onto AOO Extensions page.

I have registered with LibreOffice but this still does not answer the question or solve the poblem of not being able to register with Open Office why have the form for registering when it does not work.

The software pacgages and the web sites of the AOO and th LO is managed by two independent teams.
Please ask the developer team of the Apache OpenOffice. We are users (as you are user too) in this forum, but we are not developers.
