Hello peoples
Having searched for this question, I can't find any answer to my dilemma:
How do I convert an .ods file to something I can use on my ipad air2 ?
This is so that I don't have to cart my laptop everywhere, and still have access to my ods spreadsheet
- it has everything I need on a daily basis.
Saving the ods as xls just results in 'you do not have ms office, you cannot open this file' - or words to that effect.
I do not have ms office or anything like it.
I have seen something like 'convert ods files by sending to microsoft, and getting an OOXML file in return'
- I have no idea how to do this, or what it is.
Can anyone help please? In words a semi-technophobe can understand?
Thank you in advance of any suggestions.

Re: how to use ods spreadsheet on ipad - convert? How?
Presumably you have installed OpenOffice on your laptop. If not, you can do that. OpenOffice and Microsnot Office provide many similar features.misswoodentop wrote:I do not have ms office or anything like it.
If "use" means "view", open the file with OpenOffice, then use File → Export to PDF. Transfer the PDF to your iPad.misswoodentop wrote:How do I convert an .ods file to something I can use on my ipad air2?
If "use" means "edit", see OpenOffice for tablets.
If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit button and add [Solved] to the start of the title. You can select the green checkmark icon at the same time.
