[Solved] Keyboard changes

Please somebody advise me how to get my keyboard back to normal: it is transposing " for @ I think you have to use with the windows key in combination with another one?

That's probably an operating system setting. Try a Google search for:
Ubuntu 14.04 keyboard settings

If the problem raises with the apostrophe/quotes characters only, then you need check the setting of the
Tools - Autocorrect options - Localised options (tab) - Double quotes option.
