I need to write the formula for Nickel(II) phosphate for an online class. When I type it out the Ni shows up as ? . So my formula ends up ?3(PO_4)_2. What can I do?

ni is a reserved word for the sign ∋ (\owns in Latex)Hagar Delest wrote: The Ni string may be used for a special feature in Math, requesting other arguments.
Literal text (quoted) and variable names (unquoted) may have different formatting, so better quote all element names in the formula.Hagar Delest wrote:Use: "Ni"_3 (PO_4)_2
