OOo 2.2 still here after upgrading to 2.3

Been using OpenOffice 2.2 under Mac OS 10.4 on my MacBook. Recently upgraded to a larger hard drive, installed Leopard and used Migration Assistant to move my old applications and files to the new drive. Shortly after that, I installed OpenOffice 2.3 and now it looks like I still have version 2.2 on my hard drive although OpenOffice 2.3.0 launches.

How do I remove ver 2.2?

Thanks,
JW

JW,

If you go to the applications folder you can see if OOo 2.2 is still installed. If it is there will be two OOo program files in the folder (2.2 and 2.3). I don't think it is a problem to have both versions on the computer at once, but to get rid of the 2.2 version just drag it to the trash, and then empty the trash.
