Re: OpenOffice on Macos 14 Sonoma
Hi, and welcome to the forum. I have a Mac running OpenOffice on MacOS 14.2.1. I find that it works OK for me.
For your hardware and software, the only way to tell is to try it and see: Search found 14 matches: Sonoma

Re: OpenOffice on MacOS 14 Sonoma
At this point into 14.2.1 i would say "Not Everything" works well or at all .
Dont do it if your critical in your Open Office use as things are sometimes not what they seem.
This is no reflection on Apache as apple changes their code at will, the rest of us have to play catch up at our own expense.
I hopped on tonight to see if anyone else was having osx issues like mine.. Where every Open Office function was working as expected in Monterey , and i jumped into Sonoma and regretted it immediately.
I cannot use DRAW at all- cie est la vie.. Open Source takes time....

Especially if the developers are not aware of a problem, it may take forever to be fixed.I cannot use DRAW at all- cie est la vie.. Open Source takes time....
I note that you haven't asked for help here with your problem with Draw, nor can I find a related bug report on the bug reporting site.

OH, your right...
I have not asked yet....as i am still in the Discovery Stage.
14.2.1 behaves differently too...seems like it is 'better'

It's "c'est la vie" I guess.
Maybe it takes time but it also can take different paths. Try LibreOffice.
