Hi!
I tried to find a subforum for it. The answer I got was that "OpenOffice" and "Mobile Radio" were too unspecific as search topics.
Therefore I open willy-nilly a "new topic".
If there is already a sub-forum for this, feel free to move my request there.
I have a question about the applicability of OpenOffice on mobile devices.
How can I download OpenOffice to my Samsung Galaxy J3 mobile phone?
The reason is that my mobile device only allows copying of probably 2000 characters into the system's own documents, called "Memos".
For example, if I copy a (longer) text from Wikipedia, I always have to copy or convert it "in portions" into "Memos".
This is very annoying and also takes up a lot of time.
So how can I use OpenOffice as a basis for documents on my mobile phone?
I found the following download options on the www:
https://apkspc.com/App/com.andropenoffice/
https://andropen-office.de.malavida.com/android/cfo
https://andropen-office.de.uptodown.com ... d/download
I would be grateful for answers and advice.
Sincerely
Janus

The port of OpenOffice to android that you list is not an official Apache OpenOffice port; it may suit your purpose.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15 on Xubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

Try the Collabora Office. That is a version of the LibreOffice, and the LO is a imporoved fork of the Apache OpenOffice. How can I download OpenOffice to my Samsung Galaxy J3 mobile phone?
