[Solved] Opening Corel WPD files
[Solved] Opening Corel WPD files
Searched support for this, found nothing newer than 2018, at which time the Apache OpenOffice wiki said that "current versions will open WPD files". Since I was running 4.1.5 (2017), I updated to 4.1.9. Still can't open WPD files. How do I do so?

Re: Opening Corel WPD files
My suggestion would be to try LibreOffice. It has better compatibility with a number of formats that are not supported by OpenOffice.
If that doesn't work, or if you want to try an alternative first, then you could try using http://www.zamzar.com to convert the WPD file(s) to OpenDocument format.

Re: [Solved] Opening Corel WPD files
I had very good luck with Zamzar. It was not difficult and allowed me to download the converted file without issue in Firefox (124). When opened is rendered correctly. There's also a download of the program for free (version 1.1 currently) allowing you to convert files offline native to the PC. Strongly recommended!!!
