MacBook Air with chip, Big Sur-files unusable

Post by Flowerloverly »

When I open Open Office it quits most of the time, other times my spreadsheets are unreadable and some lines repeated many times. The text documents so far seem to be fine. I need to get all of my business spreadsheets readable and correct before work. Please help.

I am using OpenOffice 4, Apache OpenOffice 4.1.7

My computer is a brand new MacBook Air with chip, Big Sur 11.0.1

What do I do? Thank you..

LibreOffice compiles just fine for ARM. When and whether LibreOffice from TDF will be built for new ARM Macs is a decision for the Engineering Steering Committee, and providing that resources are available.

You can try some alternative to read and modify them until the official m1 compatible version release .
