Is there a translation app that i can add to writer?

Post by ejn3641 »

My wife is French and my vocabulary is limited. My Sister-in-Law and her husband don't speak English.

I need to cut and then paste into WRITER to translate French Government matters.

Thanks for the help.

Not that I know of.

I use Google Translate for all my translations and paste the result.

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.

Please, edit the initial post in the topic: add the word [Solved] at the beginning of the subject line - if your problem has been solved.

This translation site gives the best translations for samples I have tested

You would have to cut and paste your texts.

OOtranslator and Translator's Tools are a couple of old tools. I don't know how well they work now with new version. Check them out.
