How do I allign an image multiple times?

Post by HenrikS »

Newbie here, sorry - i've spent a good couple of hours, trying to figure out how to do this, but it is not working out for me.

I have a new page in Draw, i've inserted an image using "open file" ... I've copy/pasted the inserted image 50 times, and now i just want the 50 images to distribute nicely across my document in Draw, with even spacing between them.

For the life of me, i cannot figure this out, been through the Forum search several times, to no avail.

It there a function that will do this ?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

It depends on the size of the pics.
I don't remember such function. In AOO or even LibreOffice.
What you could do is use the grid and configure it so that you can use it to locate each pic.

This might be most easily done as a background, since you can tile an image in the background of a page or in the area of an object. Select the menu item Format -> Area and choose the Bitmaps tab. Click the Import button and select the image. It will be added to the list of available images. To tile the image on your page, select the menu Format -> Page. On the Background tab, set Fill to Bitmap and choose the image you want. In the Position section, choose Tile. You may want to adjust the Size settings by deselecting Original and changing the Width and Height. Click OK and the image will be shown on a grid on the page.
