Move dictionary to new computer

Hi
I have to by myself a new computer,its not longer safe due to no more updates. I use Apache since a longtime. I use many crazy specialized words, can I bring them with me to the new computer so I dont have to save them again?

Presumably you have created one or more user defined dictionaries, to which you have added your specialised words. These will be found in the wordbook directory in your user profile and can be simply copied across to the new computer, along with any other files you may need for special configuration of your OpenOffice. I guess there will be some problems for me due to lack of computerexperience, can I use an USB stick and then put them in the new ,
I will see the tutorial before I ask more questions

Yes you can.
Copy the whole user profile (beware the /backup folder may contain a lot of file that you can discard.
