OO can not find my printer
OO can not find my printer
I have the same issue and this is with a NEWLY installed hp printer...there is nowhere to go in open office on printer settings...won't allow me to put anything in...on note pad I got a unexpected configuration problem... 0x800706ba...so it isn't printing either

As far as I remember, OpenOffice will only find a printer if it is turned on when OpenOffice is started.
I suggest you turn off computer, count to twenty slowly, turn on printer and restart computer. Does any other application, such as Notepad or Wordpad find the printer and can that application print? If so, start OpenOffice and see if it now detects the printer.
