Hello All,
Trying to find a solution to the following:
Writer form, used as entry form from Split Base (HSQLDB 2.7.2, LO 24.2.2).
Text boxes for different entries.
1 Box used for Notes related to Addresses.
I seem to be unable to not show the "Notes" column header in the box. It takes space on a form with already to much info.
I like to keep the textbox header: 'Notes Address", but drop the column header: "Notes".
Please screenshot below.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance,
Dream

Open form in mode Edit.
Shift+click on the "Notes" label.
Delete it
Shift+click on the "Notes" label.

Re: Textbox without headers?
@DiDro,
Thanks for the response, but I want to remove the other one, being the Column Header "Notes" not the Textbox Label, called "Notes Address".

Re: Textbox without headers?
the Column Header "Notes"
Table Controls have column headers, Textbox controls do not.
Column Headers in Table controls cannot be removed without disconnecting the columns from their data source.
From the screenshot It appears that you have only one column in the Table control so simply replace it with a Textbox control connected to the Notes data source.
If you continue to have issues with this please upload a sample .odb file with the Form you need to edit.
If your problem has been solved, please edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the beginning of the subject line

Re: Textbox without headers?
@UnklDonald418
That works wonderfully very well.
Created a simple textbox in Writer and linked it to the source table tNotes from the DataBase for testing.
Added and linked a label field to the textbox.
It worked as was required.
Grouped the label field and the textbox, and copied the group to a form called fCompany in the DataBase.
When editing the form, there were 2 subforms on the bottom created in my case.
One held the text box and the other held the label field.
Brought the 2 together in one of the forms, and re-linked the label field to the textbox, because that link was severed.
Added a form fAddressNotes as a subform to the form fAddress, being itself a subform to the form fCompany in the DataBase, linked the 2, and dragged the group to its final destination.
Removed both the empty forms that were left behind from moving the textbox plus its label to its final destination, and voila the result is now a textbox with NO Column Header, but with a label field.
Thanks for your suggestions,
