Post by 3DITSOVER »

Hello friends, I would like to know if this exists "Highlighter Magnifying Glass for Reading per line", which I think not, so I would like to know where I can give my suggestion so that it can be implemented???
I look forward to hearing from you soon your suggestions.
Many thanks!!!

This is already available in Windows 10 - it is called Magnifier. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... Windows_10 for more information.

In addition: this is rather a desktop management application because it is useful for all kinds of application, not only a word processor. Thus, there is no point developing one specifically in OpenOffice (or any other word processor).

As David and Hagar mentioned, there already exist tools like the Windows Magnifier that provide similar functionality across all applications. They're not just limited to word processors like OpenOffice, so you can use them for any reading you need to do on your computer.

If you're looking to suggest improvements or new features, you could consider reaching out to the developers of these tools directly, or participating in user forums where they collect feedback. Microsoft has a feedback hub for Windows, for instance.

This topic was created in the General Discussion forum (not MS Windows) so the topic applies to MacOS as well. MacOS provides screen magnification for all applications via  → System Preferences → Accessibility → Zoom. Magnification controls are provided for both keyboard and mouse.

For the record, it was posted in the Writer forum and I moved it here.
