Fairly frequently, when I try find an open file on the screen I can't find it, and right clicking on the calc icon in the dock ("all windows") shows it as a slit versus a rectangle. Sometimes it can't be found at all, sometimes I find it as very small rectangle hiding on the screen similar to the attached pic.
Any fix for this?
Thanks

Hit Super+Up-Arrow to maximize a window.
on most keyboards the Super key shows a Windows symbol.

Re: Tiny or missing calc file symbols
I know how to enlarge the window.
Often, the window can't be found.
How can the window be stopped from reducing to a tiny slit?

Re: Tiny or missing calc file symbols
AFAIK, windows are only reduced in size by the window manager based on some action by the user. The screen shot shows two windows which have a reduced size, but there's nothing in the screen shot that identifies them as LO windows. If they're not both LO windows, then something outside LO is causing the problem. The windows appear to be slightly different in size and if the windows sometimes are reduced to slits, then they're not being reduced to some default size. I would look at some mouse or touchpad usage or setting causing the problem. How do you normally move and resize windows?ra-loffice wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 2:00 pm How can the window be stopped from reducing to a tiny slit?
