[Solved] Persistent recovery message for a document

I seem to have a document that Open Office desperately wants to recover, but I have no idea which.. I have uninstalled all of Open Office, ran a Regedit to remover every reference to either Apache or Open Office, re-started the computer, then downloaded the latest version and installed, re-started the computer - and it still persists in wanting to recover that £@$€$£$ document!! HELP!!

When you are prompted for Recovery, press Cancel.

It is always worth trying the Recovery option first. If the file didn't recover on that attempt, then it will never recover, so Cancel is best answer for further prompts.

There are other, more convoluted, methods to attempt recovery of a file, which recovery may or may not be successful. Here is not the place to deal with these.

My problem was the recurring wish of the program to recover a document that I didn't remember - all I wanted was to stop the hickup of having to click away the message. Your advice worked, that's all that matters to me. Thank you again ♥
