[Dropped] Can't Open XLSX after Big Sur Upgrade

I just upgraded my MacOS to Big Sur on Friday. Today, when I try to open an XLSX file, which I've been doing for years, OpenOffice crashes. I tried deleting and downloading/reinstalling OO, didn't help. It also crashes if I go to Help>Check for Updates. Everything still works fine on my other Mac, which still has Catalina installed.

Anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution?

For now, I open the XLSX with Numbers, which I hate, but copy and paste data into a blank ODS page. Works for now, just a PITA to do it multiple times a day.

Thanks for that. Looks like a Big Sur / OpenOffice general issue. I'll watch for the fix from those who know lots more than I do.

FWIW, I had no problem with Spreadsheet until I installed the macOS Big Sur 11.2.2 update. I am using files sent to me from MS Office. I could select any cell, but I could do nothing with it. No copy, paste, or enter any data. I had to regress macOS to 11.2.1. I have had no problems since. I am using Open Office 4.1.9
