I have searched but couldn't see an answer to this.
I am trying to do a simple label page but when I select Avery A4 or Herma A4 the page that comes up is NOT A4 dimensions. The document size is showing up as 211.4mm x 283.4mm (A4 is 210 x 297mm). Consequently it is cutting off the bottom of my labels. Actually it doesn't matter what brand option I choose the dimensions of the final page are the same - this can't be right! I have tried resizing the page by choosing format page after the label template has been formed but this sends the second row of labels beneath the first row as the original page is just slightly wider.
Is there some way to manually choose the page dimensions at the label set up stage? or How do I fix the dimension problem?
Any help gratefully received.

Re: Labels page is the wrong size
It seems to be a regular behaviour that pages for labels - even defined as A4 - have custom sizes. So you have to do some fine tuning, i.e. to alter the values given in page properties.
My experience tells me that you have to use some test sheets for print-outs until you will get "seamless" output (printers differ in their output manners). - Godspeed

Re: Labels page is the wrong size
Thank you for the reply. Did you mean to alter the values in the page properties AFTER forming the labels?
It still seems pretty weird that all the Brands are the same strange size

Re: Labels page is the wrong size
Perhaps the template is showing the printable area the labels need. I would expect that the actual page size of the label sheet is A4; this can easily be ascertained by checking a label sheet against an A4 sheet.

Re: Labels page is the wrong size
When I print it cuts the bottom off what I have placed in the labels because the label template page size is smaller than the A4 sheet the labels are on.

Re: Labels page is the wrong size
Thank you erbsenzahl. You were right that the page size needs to be manually changed after setting up the label sizes. I figured out that I had the horizontal pitch slightly wrong which was why it was dropping the 2nd row of labels down to the second page.
I still don't understand why all those template options are there when they are actually not different.
Never mind. Problem solved.
