Hi, with OO 5.2.3.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 when i create an equation in Writer, insert space characters (~, `) the formula adjusts accordingly. When the document is saved and reopened, the space characters (~, `) have been removed. How does one preserve these across save cycles?
Thanks.

Greetings and welcome to the community forum!
How are you saving the formula? What steps do you follow?
I've not noticed any problem saving to ODF (.odm for formulas) but I'm working with AOO on Fedora. You may want to double check your software info: version 5.x looks like a LibreOffice version, not OO/AOO.
