Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.4
What Operating System (version) are you using? Mac something (How would I know? I'm an artist)
What is your question or comment?
After the last PC computer crash, I am learning how to use Open Office to lay out a whole book, including illustrations and different sections.
Open Office even has all the drawing tools I need (both my brother and I consider the eraser function to be a white brush).
Screw these expensive, complicated programs that work only with PC or Mac, but never heard of the other and won't open each other's files. Who needs this crap?
Open Office is DA BOMB. (I said so on my blog, http://www.donnabarr.blogspot.com I LOVE this system!)
OpenOffice is Awesome!
Re: OO is !$!##!!!! AWESOME!
Glad to hear from a satisfied user
Ubuntu 11.04-x64 + LibreOffice 3 and MS free except the boss's Notebook which runs XP + OOo 3.3.
Where da bottons?
Just a question: do you have a section in OO for Mac users? Many artist friends will want to know.
Dumb question..... who knows the toolbox keyboard shortcuts for OO in Mac? Are they listed? Should somebody list them?

This forum is a user-to-user forum since November 2007. The English root is http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/index.php ("Board Index" or logo in the top-left corner).Dood wrote:Just a question: do you have a section in OO for Mac users? Many artist friends will want to know.
There you find a must-read Survival Guide and a forum for Setup and Troubleshooting with sub-forums for operating systems, one of them is Mac-specific.
I don't know Mac systems, so I'm uncertain what a toolbox is. OOo's built-in shortcuts are configurable at menu:Tools>Customize... (at least in versions before 3.0 beta).Dood wrote: Dumb question..... who knows the toolbox keyboard shortcuts for OO in Mac? Are they listed? Should somebody list them?
