what is the easiest place to obtain an instruction manual for open office 3.1 writer,with simple instructions for beginners. Where to buy one

Why OOo 3.1? This version is rather old now. Latest is 4.0.1.
LibreOffice 24.8 on Xubuntu 24.10 and 24.8 portable on Windows 10

Why pay for a guide for old software when there are free one's available.
