[Tutorial] Make Backup of your User Profile (Win32 only)

Over the previous year there has been a proliferation of users who have had corrupt user profiles. This tutorial I hope will go some way to addressing the problem for the many Windows users of OO.org

It is thought by many gurus that this could be caused by installing faulty extensions (.oxt) and this maybe so using older versions with newer OO.o
versions that users find incompatible.

To make a backup of your users profile download this little (No Install) utility OO0_Profile_Backup (386Kb), unzip to a folder/dir of your choice and follow the instructions in the readme file.

After you have made a backup you can then delete your OOo users profile and restart OOo (including the quickstarter).
This will then make you another users profile. Now you can copy/paste all your wanted files into your new user profile.
(A word of warning, only paste the files you know NOT to be corrupt, and again move a few at a time.
this way you will know which file caused the problem)
